Grassmoor and hallgate

The pond has 24 fishable pegs.

The pond is around 1.7 acres with the maximum depth being around 5 foot, the bottom is generally snag free and has a clay bottom.

There large carpark which is shared with other users of Grassmoor Country Park. The carpark is adjacent to Birkin Lane. 

There is a mixture of fish species which include Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench and Pike.

Open all year round. 

Dawn to dusk only, NO NIGHT FISHING.

Maximum of 2lb of ground bait per session.

Day tickets can be purchased from a bailiff. 

No fishing is allowed on the small, round pond.

The pond is around 0.3 acres with the maximum depth being around 6 foot. There are big beds of lilies and the pond has a clay bottom. There is a mixture of fish species which include Carp, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Tench.

Access to Hallgate is via the 5 bar gate off Hallgate Lane, keys can be purchased from the Membership Secretary for £20. There is a clearly marked out area to park in so the cows in the field stay away from cars. Alternatively, anglers can park on the main road new the Star Inn pub and walk through the field.
